Hello! I am Margo and I have been a photographer for 12+ years.
Even though I have been a photographer for many years, I had not realized the root of my inspiration as a photographer until very recently. One of my biggest inspirations for doing what I love was my mom. She inspired me to follow my dreams and reach for the stars so to speak. When she passed away in 2019 from ALS, I recognized that I had not captured as many moments with her as I wished I had while taking care of her during her illness. It has been a difficult journey since then but I want to honor her by continuing to do what I love through creating moments where people’s stories can be told.
I love photographing weddings and seeing all the love that unfolds throughout the day from start to finish. I absolutely adore families and the chaos and beauty that goes on during a family session. But what I love most, no matter what kind of session, is getting to know your story and having the opportunity to photograph it.
My hope is to take the time to be able to slow down and capture those moments with you, the moments that mean the most and having the visual story for years to come. I want to show people the beauty that they carry. To create a space for you to just be you and be comfortable, even put on some of your favorite music to inspire you. I want for you to get to share your story, I’m just behind the camera lens with the joy of capturing it.
When I am not taking photos or editing, I also enjoy taking videos, reading, drinking coffee, taking care of my plants, and most importantly being an ALS advocate.
